The Gear To Make It Happen

Pile & Bucket maintains a fleet of 4 piling rigs and 8 excavators all of which is supported by tipper trucks, long tray transport vehicles, piling pumps and tanks and excavator attachments to meet all types of site ground material requirements including sand, clay, shale and rock. Our extensive range of equipment gives us the capacity to pile, excavate, saw, hammer, rip and screen all types of ground conditions and materials including water charged ground.

Many of our staff are long standing employees with extensive experience in both piling and excavation work. We have a client base of both developers and builders who use our company for their piling and excavation requirements exclusively. Often such clients have a stated preference for a number of our staff who have performed work for them on previous projects.

Three of our piling rigs have been designed and built in house and have the capability of completing piling works where no other piling rig can or could. We have completed numerous piling contracts where other piling companies have said ‘not possible’. Our piling rigs and operators have a distinct ability to carry out piling work on sites with steep and difficult access.  Our combined capacity to install piling requirements to such sites in combination of various other trade works including excavation provides us with a unique ability not able to replicated by others.

Our piling methodology and set up is unique to our in house designed piling rigs and different to conventional piling rigs. The work method is such that all piles are finished to a nominated top of pile height avoiding the time and cost associated with the trimming of piles.

Our speciality in grout injected piling work is carried out using our own grout holding tanks on site avoiding the necessity for long delays of concrete truck agitators parked up on public space causing extended obstruction and diversion requiring pedestrian and vehicular traffic management. The grout holding tanks allow concrete trucks to ‘discharge and go’ with minimal interruption and statutory authority costs associated with the use of public space.

We continue to focus on innovation with our piling methodology in conjunction with our excavation work to make the piling installation more time and cost efficient. We have developed unique attachments to our fleet of excavators to facilitate a more productive piling process.
